In addition, our Language & Culture, Education, Health and CFS departments have organized a walk which will be taking place the day after on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, to commemorate the children who never returned home, the residential school survivors, and the impacts they've had to our families and our community.
Those in community are encouraged to gather with everyone at the q̓àq̓ut̓haa̓ilas (School) at 12:00 PM to walk to the east end of the village, then returning back to the Big House for lunch.
