Class Action
Indian Boarding Homes
The sessions will provide a plain-language overview of the settlement, who may be eligible, how to complete the claim form, important timelines, and where to access support. These sessions are intended to support potential claimants, family members, Elders, Survivors, community contacts, and others who may be helping individuals understand or complete the claims process.
The sessions will be hosted virtually through Microsoft Teams and are open to participants from all regions. Multiple dates and times are available to help support different schedules and time zones.
During the session, we will cover:
- An overview of the Indian Boarding Homes Class Action Settlement
- Who the settlement is intended to support
- Key information about the claims process
- A walkthrough of the claim form
- Frequently asked questions
- Where to access official resources and support
Please note that these sessions are for general information only. Individual claims, eligibility decisions, or personal circumstances will not be discussed during the session. Anyone with questions about their own claim or situation will be directed to the Boarding Homes Information Center for support.
We would appreciate your help sharing this invitation with anyone in your community or network who may benefit from attending, including potential claimants, family members, Elders, Survivors, and community support staff. For virtual sessions and times, click below:
